Konrad and Sadie Pilz started K & S Greenhouse in 1982 in the Portage Lakes area of Green, Ohio.
Sadie grew up in a greenhouse family, while Konrad started working for the same family while in high school. The State Route 619 location was great for over 22 years, but parking was limited and a road widening project would only add to the headaches. So a change was necessary. We are now on our 14 acre farm where ample parking, fresh air and blue skies are plentiful. Drive down our 600' driveway lined with flowering crabapple trees and see a 100' row of forsythias in bloom nearby. This peaceful country setting with no busy intersections or congested parking.
