Please be our guest on April 14 at 1 PM for our first "Easy Cooking with Herbs" with chef Daniel Lee Britton as he shows how to prepare summer dishes using herbs from your patio.
Basil, rosemary, chives, tarragon, parsley, cilantro and many other herbs will be used on seafood and chicken dishes. Traditional salsas and a new strawberry salsa will be showcased as well as beverages using mints and lemons.
I will explain how to grow your summer herbs in the correct containers using natural sprays to control bugs. My wife Sadie will teach you how to dry and store your herbs.
Reservations are required for this event as we expect to fill seats quickly. Saturday April 14 at 1 PM

Easy cooking using herbs!
Chef Daniel Lee Britton of "The Nature's Bin" will present summer dishes that are easy to prepare using herbs that you can grow easily on your patio!
Chef Daniel will show you how to prepare lemon basil rice salad, grilled chicken with strawberry salsa, and tuna citrus salad while enjoying yourself in a warm greenhouse surrounded by flowering hanging baskets and tropicals. This will be the most unique class you'll ever experience!
Chef Daniel Lee Britton is a graduate of The International Culinary Arts and Sciences Institute in Chesterland, Ohio. He is also a member of The American Personal Chef Association, and is currently the Executive Chef at The Nature's Bin in Lakewood, Ohio where he works extensively with organic and holistic food. Chef Daniel is also a personal chef and caterer.
Daniel has always had a passion for preparing gourmet cuisine and gains great satisfaction in pleasing his clientele.
We will have a large selection of herb plants available and provide the growing tips to make sure you have your own abundant supply of "cut and grow" herbs throughout the summer.
Enjoy the coming summer with healthy and quick meals using herbs that you've grown. Bring a friend, just call us at 330-899-9230 to RSVP for the event. Seating will be limited to 40 people, but we will offer a second date if necessary. There is a $10 per person charge for this event, however each registered guest will receive a $10 coupon at the end of this class good till Oct 30, 2007 for greenhouse plants, shrubs or strawberries.
